Open CSV files as a readable table
CSV files exported from banks, shops and databases are hard to read in a text editor. Drop one here to see it as a proper grid. The separator (comma, semicolon, tab or pipe) and the character encoding are detected automatically, and numbers written with decimal commas are recognized.

Frequently asked questions
My CSV shows strange characters — why?
Most encodings are detected automatically. If a file still looks wrong, save it again as "CSV UTF-8" in the source application.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and processed by your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party, and the file is gone when you close the tab.
Is there a row limit?
There is no fixed limit; very large files depend on your device's memory.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free to use and there is no sign-up. The site is supported by ads shown on the information pages, never inside your document.
